Aero 452 is the first TSO certified Carbon Monoxide detector for use in General Aviation. Our unit has passed all mandatory functional and quality checks as prescribed by the FAA and has been awarded TSO certification.

*** This unit is FAA TSO approved for all part 23 certified aircraft weighing (12,500 lbs or less). We have a one model STC for the Cessna 172, so that the installation manual, the instructions for continued airworthiness and the flight manual can be FAA approved for any aircarft. ***

For other aircraft, it does need a major repair and alteration Form 337 using our 172 STC documentation as a reference. This form can be filled by your FBO / mechanic who deals with your local FAA FISDO office.
